6 Teeth and Couting!
Mason now has 6 teeth (4 on top, 2 on bottom). He has learned to stand on his own and take 2 or 3 steps. Hopefully within the next month he'll be walking!(Time for the roller skates) . He also is started to talk, he knows momma and dadda and we are continually working on other words. Along with the talking he know how to clap, high five, and wave bye-bye. It amazes me how much he is learning and how fast he is growing. I still can't believe that he is 8months old and will be 1 in a few months. Time has gone by so fast!!

1/2 Way There!
Mason turned 7mos on the 14th, we're 1/2 way to 1!! Everyday day I'm amazed how much more he has grown. He learns something new almost everyday, this week it's saying "da da" . He passed the crawling stage and is now wanting to walk. We haven't mastered it yet, but it's getting close. He's enjoying not eating is baby food and giving me a hard time about it. He really doesn't have a favorite at the moment. It's pretty much whatever he can get to and play with. Last month Mason cut his first 2 teeth. We haven't seen anymore yet, but hopefully soon! He loves spending time with his daddy and watching t.v. (when Brian is around it's like I'm non-existent). I've already started to think about Mason's 1st b-day, and what to do. With it being 10 days before Christmas I would like to get it separate and have a party for him. I kind of get the feeling that it won't happen and we'll be celebrating it all at once. Guess we'll have to wait and see!!

3 Months and Growing!
Mason turned 3 months on Saturday( where has the time gone?) Right now his favorites are his rings that are on his car seat, and his Johnny Jumper. He discovered that he can swing back and forth in it. I'm guessing he is about 14lbs, and 25inches long. He's out growing most of the clothes that we bought for the summer. Time to go shopping! We went to New Orleans and Biloxi this past weekend. Nothing too exciting was going on there, we did stop at a new hotel and casino. I must admit the buffett was MUCH better than any one that we had in Vegas. I think we may have found our new family vacation spot! Mason is trying to crawl but still hasn't quite got it. It's more of an army/scoot across the floor. With time going by as fast as it is Mason will be 1 before we know it!

Mason's 2 month appt
Mason had his 2 month check up on Tuesday. Right now he is 13lbs 3 oz, and 24in long. The doctors say that he is right on track and everything looks good. He also got his first round of vaccinations (he wasn't too happy about that). I still can't believe that he is already 2 months old, where has the time gone? Before I know it we will be celebrating his 1st birthday!!

East Coast to West Coast
The past 2 weeks have interesting to say the least. Our "little man" has flew on a plane, been to over 10 states, saw one of the 7 Wonders of the World, and our nations capital. Our trip started with a week in Vegas. The plane ride was a little long for Mason, but he was all smiles the entire time. He even flirted with the flight attendants(just like his daddy!) Besides the endless walking we did in Vegas, we took a Gondola ride at the Venetian, went to the "Top of the World" at the Stratosphere, and enjoyed one of the best buffet's at the Luxor. We took a trip to the Hoover Dam(one of the 7 wonders of the world). It was defiantly a sight to see! While there we also were able to be in 2 places at once, Arizona and Nevada.
After getting back from our week in Vegas, we headed to New Jesery and then to D.C. Besides the freezing temps and the high winds D.C. wasn't all that bad. We started off at Arlington Cematary, JFK's buiral sight and the Tombs of the Unkown Soliders. From there we headed over to the Washington momument, the White House, and the Capital. We were on a time limit so we didn't get to see much (plus it was a little too cold to do alot of sight seeing) Hopefully we can make it back in the Spring and see a lot more.
Now that we are back in Georgia and Mason is getting bigger and bigger. He's around 10 lbs or so and around 23in long. We find out Tuesday for sure. He's starting to laugh and baby babble with just about anyone. His favorite things at the moment are his green fuzzy blanket and stuffed monkey, and the sheep that makes nature sounds to help you sleep.
